Cashmeran is a synthetic fragrance molecule (musk indanone), prized for its rich, woody–musky–vanilla character that evokes the soft, luxurious feel of cashmere wool . In perfumery, it’s often called “Cashmere Wood” or “Cashmere Musk” and used at around 1–2 %, as it’s potent and versatile .
