- Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, combine the bleaching powder with a suitable developer (typically 20, 30, or 40 volume) in a 1:2 ratio. Mix thoroughly until a smooth, creamy consistency is achieved.
- Application: Apply the mixture evenly to dry, unwashed hair, starting from the tips and working towards the roots.
- Processing Time: Leave the product on the hair for 20–45 minutes, depending on the desired level of lift and the condition of the hair.
- Monitoring: Check the hair every 10–15 minutes to ensure the desired lightness is achieved. Do not exceed the maximum processing time.
- Rinsing: Once the desired lightness is reached, rinse the hair thoroughly with lukewarm water until the water runs clear.
- Aftercare: Apply a deep conditioning treatment to restore moisture and maintain hair health.
Precautions
- Patch Test: Always perform a patch test 48 hours before application to check for any allergic reactions.
- Avoid Contact with Eyes and Skin: Keep the product away from eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
- Not for Use on Eyebrows or Eyelashes: This product is not intended for use on eyebrows or eyelashes.
- Use in a Well-Ventilated Area: Ensure proper ventilation during application to avoid inhalation of fumes.
