Application Instructions
- Preparation: Part hair into four sections. Apply a protective base (e.g., petroleum jelly) to the hairline, ears, and scalp.
- Mixing: Combine the relaxer base and activator thoroughly in a non-metallic bowl until the mixture is smooth.
- Application: Starting at the nape, apply the relaxer to each section, working towards the front. Apply to the hairline last.
- Smoothing: Using the back of a comb or your fingers, gently smooth the hair to ensure even straightening.
- Timing: Leave the relaxer on the hair for 9–13 minutes, depending on hair texture and desired results.
- Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly with warm water to remove all traces of the relaxer.
- Neutralizing: Apply the Olive Oil Creamy Aloe Shampoo, lather, and rinse. Repeat until the lather is white, indicating all relaxer has been neutralized.
- Conditioning: Apply the Olive Oil Replenishing Conditioner, leave on for 10–15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
- Moisturizing: Apply the Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion to damp hair and style as desired.
Precautions
- Perform a strand test before full application to assess hair’s reaction.
- Do not use on hair that has been previously treated with a different type of relaxer.
- Avoid contact with eyes and skin; in case of contact, rinse immediately with water.
